The units project was a follow on Rotary project following the sale of the Rotary Dream Home in 2018.
A committee made up of representatives of each Rotary Club have been working on the unit project over the recent years.
Each of the 5 Rotary Clubs, lead by their project committee member, worked on different aspects of the final stages to completion of the units
The Rotary Club of Invercargill supported hands on with the contribution of the deck, landscaping including the creation of a little outside sitting area.
Rotary facilitated a 10 year "peppercorn" lease with the Land Owner of the Conyers St section, on its own title.
The units have been in use since September 2025, operated by the Breathing Space Southland Charitable Trust (BSSCT) for temporary accommodation for clients who meet the Trust's referral criteria.
