The concept of using an empty retail space in Invercargill Central for a pop-up “cap shop” to sell more of the donated cap collection has progressed with over 1000 caps now on display ready to be sold.
The cap collection was generously donated from an estate, hundreds were sold at the 2026 Book Sale, with this being an added opportunity to move more caps and make a further donation back to our community. The Pop-Up Shop space is being sponsored by Invercargill Central Ltd.
The proposed pop-up shop is now confirmed for the weekend of Saturday 29 August and Sunday 30 August 2026.
This August 2026 Pop Up Cap Shop will be a fundraiser for the Head Injury Southland Charitable Trust.
