The Book Sale Committee is exploring the possibility of using an empty retail space in Invercargill Central for a special pop-up “cap shop”. The shop would provide an opportunity to sell more of the donated cap collection.

The collection was generously donated from an estate. Although hundreds of caps were sold during the May 2026 Book Sale, there are still several boxes remaining, and the committee is keen to find a practical way to give more of them a new home.

The proposed pop-up shop is being planned for the weekend of Saturday 29 August and Sunday 30 August

Book Sale Committee Chair Richard Russell will share further details as planning progresses with an invitation to Members to be involved.
