On Tuesday 25th February, Rotary Members are asked to give an hour of their time to help with tree planting at The Hawthorndale Care Village.
The Rotary Clubs of Invercargill have been asked to help out with planting at the soon to be opened Hawthorndale Care Village.

There is no Rotary lunch meeting on this day so please consider re-purposing your Rotary time to assist with this request for support.

If you can assist - head down to the Village on the former site of the Hawthorndale School on Tay Street, and say you are from Rotary and there to help with planting.  You can go at anytime of the day.

Recommended you take your own gloves, spade and / or fork.

The Hawthorndale Village, is a not-for-profit organisation, pioneering a new approach for dementia care in New Zealand. Inspired by the innovative Dutch care village, The Hogeweyk, their aim is to humanise dementia care by recreating the familiarity of everyday life within a safe and secure setting.
