The voting process for the proposed pilot will be way of an online ballot.
 

The voting process has now been confirmed for the Rotary Zone 8 regionalisation pilot.

An online ballot, managed by the Rotary International South Pacific and Philippines Office, will be conducted from Thursday, September 15 until September 29 to decide if the proposed pilot will proceed.

The pilot is a proposal to explore, develop and test new ways of operating Rotary and Rotaract in our part of the world.Club Presidents will vote by representing the views of the majority of their members. The President of each Rotary club will receive an email from vote@simplyvoting.com that will enable them to vote on behalf of their club. 

The vote will read:"This club approves participation in a pilot to develop, test and evaluate a new regional approach to supporting and governing Rotary and Rotaract clubs and members in Zone 8 from July 2023 to June 2026.” Yes or NoVoting starts from noon AEST on Thursday, September 15, and will remain open for 15 days, closing at noon AEST Thursday, September 29.

The host for the webinars will be Rotary International Director Jessie Harman.

Presenters will be Co-Chairs PDG Ingrid Waugh and PDG Peter Frueh.

Questions will be asked through the Q&A function and will be moderated by Rotary International South Pacific and Philippines Office staff.

The duration is one hour with about 15 minutes of introduction and presentation, with the remainder answering questions.Content will be the same in each webinar, so you only need to attend one that best suits your schedule.
