Despite the wet weather, thousands of people turned out for the 2026 Surf to City today — and once again our Club had a Rotary presence at this iconic community event.
A big thank‑you to the Club members who, armed with umbrellas, braved the rain to assist with marshalling along the route. Your support helped keep participants safe and the event running smoothly. Was great to see so many people of all ages be involved.
Well done also to the members who took part in the event itself.
Surf to City is held each March, and our Club receives a donation for every volunteer who helps out — making our involvement a meaningful contribution to both community wellbeing and Club fundraising.
