Hello fellow club members

At our last meeting we had Dr James Savage present on the aspects of AI (artificial intelligence) and its potential to change our lives over the next decade.

AI offers numerous advantages, including enhanced efficiency and accuracy, faster decision-making, cost savings through automation, and improved customer experiences, along with the ability to tackle complex problems and it will be interesting to see this evolve over time. Thankyou James for your enlightening presentation and for sharing lunch with us.

Last weekend we completed the outdoor patio area for the Conyers Street units which provides a nice quiet garden area for residents to relax on.

Thank you to those members and family that helped lay the paving stones and dug out the foundations, it was a sunny day for some physical work, and I enjoyed the custard squares that Karen brought along for afternoon tea 🙂.

Work on the Conyers Street units is pretty much completed, and these will be a valuable asset for the community allowing refuge for those in need.

Planning is well underway for our "Book sale" on Kings birthday week and we already have a large number of books being sorted and stored ready for the weekend. Thank you to the Book sale committee for all of their hard work so far.
