Oreti Beach Clean up's have been a regular event on the Club’s projects calendar.
The 2025 clean up is on this weekend - Sunday 16th March

The 2025 event is being co-ordinated by Rotary Club of Invercargill South.
This is a collaborative combined club event where all of the 5 Rotary Club’s in Invercargill will work together.
Everyone is welcomed to join in on the project so if you have friends, family or work colleagues that are interested in caring for the environment or like some fresh air - invite them along.
The 'plan' is to meet at the Beach entrance at 9am. The clean up is estimated to go across 1.5 to 2hours both ways on the beach.
President Michael has confirmed he is bringing his truck and trailer, Club high viz vests will be supplied on the day.
A sausage sizzle at Fosbender Park is planned after clean up (to the north off Dunns Road after the Oreti River Bridge)
What to bring; gloves, good safe footwear, sun hat and sunblock and / or wet weather gear, drink bottle.
