The theme for the Rotary year is Unite for Good.
Since 1913, the Rotary year has officially started on the 1st July. For each Rotary year there is a new theme set by the Rotary International President, the 2025-26 theme is Unite for Good.
The tradition of a theme for the new Rotary year is recorded to have started in 1949 by RI President Percy C. Hodgson.
The 25/26 theme as set by Rotary International President-elect Mário César Martins de Camarg is Unite for Good .
De Camargo, a member of the Rotary Club of Santo André, São Paulo, Brazil, theme was centered on essential pillars” for growth: innovation, continuity, and partnership.
Rotary members working alone can achieve great things, de Camargo said, but collaborating with others makes it possible to change the world.
“Rotary’s greatest asset is not our history, our projects, or even our unmatched global reach. It is our members,”
Francesco Arezzo, of Rotary Club of Ragusa, Italy, who is now Rotary International’s president for 2025-26 following Mário César Martins de Camargo unexpected resignation will retain the theme Unite for Good,
Rotary members are encouraged to be a force for unity in a world increasingly divided by politics, geography, and ideology. Through service projects, Rotary brings together people of every background — across races, religions, and professions — in a shared mission to do good in their communities.
The Unite for Good theme has a logo and is worked into messaging throughout the Rotary year, projects and communications.
