We need a few more Volunteers - Can you help out on 8th March ?
The Wensley’s Cycles Surf to City returns on 8 March 2026, and once again our Club has been invited to support this fantastic community event — an opportunity that also serves as a Club fundraiser for us.
The event is organised by Active Southland, and to keep everything safe and enjoyable, volunteers are needed along the route. That’s where our Club comes in.
Thanks to the Club Members who have indicated they are available to assist, but we are looking for a few more volunteers to assist with water stations and traffic marshalling.
It’s only a couple of hours in a fluro vest between 9am and 12noon. The Club receives a donation for every volunteer who helps out, making your support even more meaningful.
Alice is coordinating our volunteer team, and she’d love to hear from you. Feel free to bring along a friend or family member to volunteer alongside you.
