Planning for the 44th Rotary Club of Invercargill Book Sale is well underway.
The dates and times for the 2025 event are:
Thursday, May 29th: 8am to 7pm
Friday, May 30th: 8am to 7pm
Saturday, May 31st: 9am to 5pm
The Book Sale Committee is Chaired by Richard Russell, with committee members: Richard King, Peter Dunn, Lisa-Maree Fleck and Helen Cook.
A shipping container has recently been purchased for book storage.
The Garage / Service Stations are being finalized now with the pickups scheduled to commence from Monday 5th May. Peter Dunn will be connecting with those members who have assisted with pickups from garages previously with details. The list of Service Stations / Garages will be included in an upcoming bulletin and added to the Book Sale event so there is a go-to-place for the list.
Members are asked to mark diary(s) to help with the Scottish Hall set up Monday 5th May from 5.15pm.
Tuesday 27th May will be the Book Sale 'Final Set Up / Sorting' Lunch Meeting.
More details on the 2025 event and opportunities on how you can help out and support this community fundraiser will be included in upcoming bulletins with key dates added to the Club Calendar.
The major recipient for proceeds from the 2025 sale is still to be confirmed.
