Community Service Opportunity:

Volunteer Drivers needed  - Can you help?

The supportive care team at the Cancer Society have been inundated with new clients and with increased requests for transport assistance.

To meet the demand more volunteer drivers are required – people who are available during the day to drive someone to an appointment or to treatment.

It’s not a huge task but it makes a huge difference.  At what can be an anxious, stressful time the certainty that you will get to/from your appointment  alleviates a great deal of worry.

Interested in joining? Email:volunteer@cansoc.org.nz
