Southland Girls High School (SGHS) – Bushy Point Project
As mentioned at recent Club Forum, the Bushy Point Restoration Project is an ongoing project to restore a 14-hectare area of pasture grass, located between two remnants of nationally significant native Totara forest in Otatara.
SGHS have been involved with this project since 2005 as part of their “Community Breakout” days. SGHS are looking for volunteer support for their Year 7 and 8 students for the upcoming planting days.
