RYE Rotary Youth Exchange:
Our Club with Invercargill South will co-host a RYE student from Chile in 2020 - Yolanda Blanchard.
Yoli is 15 years old, she lives with her grandparents in San Sebastian, a small coastal town near San Antonio.
Yoli arrives in New Zealand in January 2020 and is enrolled at Girls High. She will be hosted for the first 6 month by Invercargill South Club members.
We need 2 host families from our club for the second 6 months - if you are able to host or would like to know more about what would be involved in hosting please contact Stephen O'Connor by email on

4th week of the month social catch up is a Working Bee for the Santa Parade at 6pm.
Working Bee will be held at the Float Workshop - CP Wool Store - 805 North Road, Lorneville. Once the work is done - there will be a Fish & Chip tea with a beverage provided.
