Mark McLean
SBS Bank - Member Experience general manager

Mark McLean has a financial services industry background spanning more than 25 years.

He has held various banking leadership roles in the United Kingdom, Singapore, Netherlands and New Zealand. He has been a valued member of SBS Bank’s executive team for the past eight years having responsibility for the Bank’s risk, process improvement functions.

As General Manager Member Experience, McLean is responsible for the member experience aspects of business through SBS’s branches, digital channel, contact centre and the broker distribution channel.  

He has a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in accountancy from the University of Otago and a Post Graduate Diploma in marketing.

He is also a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and the Institute of Directors.
